Hello, I’m Chuck Watters and I’m the Grade 5 General Studies teacher at OJCS.

I continue to develop as a teacher, having taught in varied settings for many years and with all age levels. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia and as a younger adult I served in the Canadian Navy. I retired from the military in 2011 and moved to Baltimore, Maryland where I graduated from Towson University with my teaching degree. I have taught in Halifax, New Hampshire, Maryland and most recently, I taught at a Forest School and at a Montessori high school in the Ottawa area.
