Meet Morah Marina

Allow me to introduce myself – I am a passionate and dedicated teacher who has had a unique journey. I was born in Belarus and at the age of 7, my family and I moved to Israel where I was raised and lived most of my life. In 2006, I completed my B.Ed in Special Education from the College of Teachers in Israel, where I also taught Math, Jewish studies, and Hebrew in Elementary school.

In 2015, I moved to Canada with my family and settled in Winnipeg for five years. During my time there, I pursued my love for teaching and went back to school to obtain a teaching certificate that qualified me to teach in Canada. I was eager to bring my skills and experience to the Canadian education system.

In 2020, we moved to Ottawa, and I immediately fell in love with the city. It has been an incredible experience teaching in a new city, and I have enjoyed every moment of it.

In my free time, I cherish spending time with my family. We love to travel and explore new places, discovering new cultures and learning new things. As a teacher, I am passionate about my work, and I always strive to learn new methods of teaching to enhance my students’ learning experience.

I believe that a teacher’s job goes beyond the classroom, and it is a privilege to be able to help shape young minds and inspire them to reach their full potential. I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on my students’ lives.
