There was much excitement today as students matched English to French vocabulary words on directions in preparation for their second quiz on Thursday, November 30th.

After much researching and planning of their First Nations Project, Grade 5 students in Madame Sylvie’s class are off to a great start creating their dioramas showing how Iroquois, Algonquins, Inuit, Haidas and Cree used to live.  While students are learning to cooperate with their team members, they are also impressing me with their skills in making igloos, wigwams, tepees, palissades, dogsleds and many more.
