Core French – Test 1

We have been busy learning about “La Communauté” in core French and we have the official date of our first test. The test will be on the 14th of November. I have sent home a study guide for students to use with the vocabulary words and what to expect on the test so that they can start studying if they wish. There are also a few links attached to the electronic version that the students can use to help them practice and study the vocabulary words.

Core French Homework!

Bonjour!!

With the end of the holidays now, we are starting up homework again! For core French homework this year, I have decided to do it as a choice/bingo board. Students were all sent home with the choice board today and a duo tang with any of the resources that they need. On the choice board there are A LOT of activities all with a wide variety using different French speaking and reading skills. Students do NOT have to do all of the tasks. As it is just the start of homework, I am challenging students to complete at least ONE homework task a week and to log it into their homework folder. Some of the activities that students can pick from are: reading on Je Lis, reading French books of their choice, Duo-lingo, watching a television program in French, speaking to a friend or family member in French (this can be in person, or on the phone), writing a short creative story, and so many other options.

The homework is due: November 25th 2022 and students should have at least 5 activities completed (but the more the merrier).

If you have any questions about the homework, please send me an email!
