Students have a few things on the go right now.

1. As I mentioned in my lat post, Problem of the Week was given last week. It is due on Monday, September 17
2. Students had their first exposure to our flipped math class. You can read more about Flipped Classrooms here. They have a math video due tomorrow. Students can click here for the video.
3. Today we also started our Writers Workshop Wednesday. Every week students will have a new topic to write about, practicing the skills we are learning in class. We are currently beginning our creative writing unit, so the students are practicing adding details and figurative language to their work. They have a full week to continue adding to their story and making all necessary edits. The final copy is due Thursday, September 20
